Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how RMB Fence & Deck (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information you provide through this website. By using this site or submitting a form, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
When you submit a contact or quote request form, we collect the information you enter:
- Your name, phone number, and email address
- The service you are interested in and any details you include in your message
- Your communication preferences and the consent choices you select
Our forms also automatically record technical details with each submission — your IP address, browser user agent, the page the form was submitted from, and the date and time. We use these to prevent spam and fraudulent submissions and to keep a record of the consent you provided.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiry and provide the services you requested
- To contact you about your project by phone, text, or email, according to the consent you gave
- To keep records of our communications and of your consent choices
- To protect our site against spam and abuse
We use automated tools to help route and prioritize incoming inquiries. These tools do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Text Messages (SMS)
If you opt in to text messages, we may send you messages about your inquiry, appointment reminders, service updates, and occasional offers. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Mobile opt-in information and consent are never shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to operate our business:
- Service providers — our website host and the marketing and customer-relationship provider that operates our lead-management system on our behalf. These providers may only use the information to provide services to us.
- Legal requirements — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Cookies and Analytics
This site may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working properly and to understand how visitors use it. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings; some features may not work correctly if you do.
Data Retention
We keep inquiry and customer records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations, then delete or de-identify them.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you. We do not sell your personal information.
You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message, and out of text messages by replying STOP. To make a privacy request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision; material changes will be posted on this page.
